Follow a Dream with Jay Blake
Watch Jay and his Dream Team tear down and rebuild a Top Funny Car
Appearing Sunday at 2pm
In 1997, an industrial accident left Jay Blake totally blind. From that point on, he had to, in his words, "Learn to live life with my eyes closed." He has worked tirelessly since his accident to realize his dream of owning a professional auto racing team and establishing his non-profit foundation, Follow a Dream. The only totally blind race car crew cheif in competitive auto racing, Jay and his team are currently ranked in the top 20 nationally in their class. Jay has been profiled by the NBC Today Show, CNN's Newslight, the CBS Evening News, and can be found frequently on ESPN. More recently, Jay was featured in the NY Times.
